YOU DON’T NEED ANOTHER TECHNOLOGY PROJECT

You need answers
you can use before
the next service.

You know your business. AI can help you inspect the details that are hard to find time for: a changing pack size, a recurring waste pattern, an unprofitable promotion.

This toolkit gives you a sequence to follow, the records to gather, the words to paste and the checks to make before you act.

Start with one invoice. One question.
One improvement you can measure.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

Twelve ways to
work on your margins.

Every workflow includes the what, why and how—plus a complete prompt, follow-up questions and a small implementation test.

01—03 / FIND THE LEAKS

Follow the food cost.

  • Normalize ingredient and recipe costs
  • Find recurring waste and portion issues
  • Compare local vendors and farm suppliers
04, 09—10 / CONTROL EXPENSES

Spend with better evidence.

  • Compare equipment’s total ownership cost
  • Match paid hours to actual demand
  • Audit recurring bills and contracts
05—06, 12 / EARN THE NEXT VISIT

Make growth more deliberate.

  • Build permission-based occasion campaigns
  • Find patterns in diner feedback
  • Cost a practical catering offer
07—08, 11 / IMPROVE EVERY ORDER

Keep more of what you earn.

  • Understand menu contribution
  • Plan prep around realistic demand
  • Compare delivery and direct-order economics

A GUIDED FIRST STEP

From “I don’t know
where to start”
to “show me the math.”

  1. Choose a business problem.
Start with an invoice, waste log or recurring bill.
  2. Paste the complete prompt.
Supply your records and let the AI ask what’s missing.
  3. Verify and test.
Check the numbers. Try a small change. Measure it.
TRY A SMALL FIRST QUESTION 01

What does this ingredient actually cost me?

Use a redacted invoice. Copy this starter into your AI chat.

Help me check one supplier invoice. First transcribe the item, pack size, quantity, unit price and line total. Mark unreadable details instead of guessing. Ask me to verify the transcription. Then show cost per comparable unit, with each conversion explained. Do not infer waste or savings from this invoice alone.

The full toolkit adds the data checks, calculations and follow-up sequence.

AN AMBITIOUS TARGET. AN HONEST METHOD.

Explore a $10,000
monthly opportunity.

The toolkit helps you investigate that target through reduced costs and added contribution. It does not promise that every business can achieve it.

For a smaller operation, a verified $300 improvement can be a sensible first step. Your potential depends on your costs, volume, capacity and execution.

BEFORE YOU START

A few good questions.

Do I need to understand AI?

No. The guide starts with a single invoice and explains how to paste a prompt, provide records, check the response and ask a useful follow-up.

Will this work with any AI platform?

The prompts use ordinary language and are designed for general-purpose AI assistants. Features vary. Live supplier research requires browsing; file analysis requires upload support. The guide includes text-only alternatives.

Will I save $10,000 every month?

That is an opportunity target, not a guarantee or a typical result. Some small businesses will have a much smaller realistic opportunity. The toolkit helps you test the economics using your own records and avoids counting new sales as pure profit.

Is this useful for a coffee shop or food truck?

Yes. Each workflow includes adaptations for restaurants, coffee shops and food trucks, including milk and pastry waste, event-level prep, service capacity and group orders.

What will I download?

A ZIP containing the PDF guide, an offline HTML prompt library and calculator, complete prompts in plain text, editable intake forms and a results ledger. Open the HTML file in a desktop browser. Nothing in that local tool uploads your records.

Does AI make changes to my business automatically?

No. These workflows produce analyses and drafts. You review and carry out any supplier contact, purchase, staffing change or customer campaign.
